Ni-Cd Battery

The Name Ni-Cd is derived from chemical symbols of Nickel -Ni and Cadmium- Cd.
In this type of battery contains Nickel oxide-hydroxide and Cadmium as electrode.

Basic Property of Nickel Cadmium battery

1.Specific Energy Density                 45-80 Wh/Kg
2. Internal Resistance                               17-33 mΩ/Volt.
3. Charge-Discharge Cycle Life       1000
4. Charge Time                                  1 Hr
